Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 June 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Contractly on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
2. The service
Contractly provides contract templates, an AI clause assistant, and an e-signature workflow. Contractly is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For complex transactions, consult a qualified Nigerian legal practitioner.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about parties, terms, and signers.
- Review every contract before sending it for signature.
- Keep your account credentials confidential.
4. E-signatures
Electronic signatures captured through Contractly are intended to satisfy the requirements of the Evidence Act 2011 (as amended). The audit certificate produced for each signed contract records signer identity, timestamps, and IP metadata.
5. Fees
Contractly is currently free to use while we validate demand. We will give at least 30 days' notice before introducing paid plans.
6. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@contractly.ng. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Lagos State.
